Electroneum On Next.Exchange
ETN & NEW EXCHANGES
It's official! We are pleased to announce that we have teamed up with NEXT.EXCHANGE, which will soon allow you to transact and trade your ETN. We estimate that we'll be up and running within 3 weeks or so as our devs continue to work closely with their peers at NEXT.EXCHANGE, working together to make sure that we meet all the criteria we need, and that our precious coins are in good hands.
As you may already know, the CEO of EHI and Titanium - Michael Stollaire - has joined the senior team. Michael is helping us filter and find the right exchanges for our burgeoning business. He has vast experience and contacts, both of which will be incredibly valuable when negotiating ETN's listing, and we expect to have more news for you soon.
Michael has quickly become fully engaged with the team, and is driving change at a startling rate. As of today, we already have 3 exchanges in fast track application, and, much as we'd love to share all the details with you right now, the strict application criteria has our lips firmly sealed! I'm sure you'll all appreciate that any leaks could seriously hamper our application process, which would only cause frustrating delays. That said, we shouldn't need to wait too long to hear the announcement from the exchanges.
As Michael powers on, it is already very clear that we have torn holes through the stratosphere to get to this point. It's a waiting game now, so let's be patient as the process takes its course while we build great foundations for our coin.
In closing, let’s remember we have been live for just 2 months, and we've made huge advances that other coins can only dream of in such a short time. A major part of our success is because of you guys, the community. You are the reason, you are the drivers of change and we LOVE YOU for all your amazing support.
**IMPORTANT NEWS**
TRANSACTIONS & WALLETS
We hear you.. and we’re here to help you!
Over the past few weeks, some of you have experienced transactional issues which have generated many support tickets, particularly relating to incomplete transactions.
We are aware of the problem we have now identified the cause and, as a result, we are implementing a number of substantial changes to our back end transactional system. More enhancements are planned over the coming week, delivering significant transaction handling improvements across other areas such as error handling, volume, success rate and scalability.
Before we launched, we had designed the system and, under load, ran various test environments, all of which scaled nicely. Now we’re in a real environment that is much larger than we ever could have imagined, new issues have emerged such as worker nodes occasionally being out of sync but reported as being in-sync; and some transactional anomalies and corrupted wallets have occurred because of this. We are repairing wallets as fast as possible, and appreciate the patience of those affected as we await the time needed to re-build and sync with the blockchain. This sounds a little scary but please don’t worry, a corrupted wallet does not impact your balance on the blockchain – we can always recover it.
So, what else? We’ve made improvements to our node servers and are adding new code to verify, and double verify, that the node is in sync with the master blockchain before allowing a transaction to take place. We also have new code being released that detects and automatically rebuilds corrupted wallets as soon as they’re identified, plus many, many more changes that will enhance speed and function.
Next week, once all these code enhancements have been deployed, we’ll work through any other outstanding anomalies to make sure everyone’s transaction list is accurate and up to date.
During this period, we’d be so very grateful if you could try to avoid raising any more support tickets. This is because, as a known issue being actioned, these will not be registered since the work being done should resolve the issues.
As always, our thanks for your continued support!
